What is Technovation?

Technovation is an international program and contest for girls 10-18 that teaches mobile app development, entrepreneurship, and community engagement. Teams of up to 5 work together to develop mobile apps aligned with 6 UN Sustainable Development Goals, and that address a problem in their local community. The curriculum is online and free to everyone, and no experience is necessary.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

Canopy City is accessible via Red Line Porter Square (on Bus 83 Route), Red Line Davis Square (on Bus 87 Route), Bus 83, Bus 87, Bus 85, Bus 86, and Hubway bike.

There are various parking options: general street Parking, the AMES Parking Deck at 30 Dane St., Somerville, MA 02143, the parking lot in front of Rite Aid nearby, or the spots along the fence facing the street at 530 Somerville Ave, Somerville, MA 02143

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No, printed tickets are not necessary.

Will there be food and drink?

We will have pizza, drinks and dessert items at the event.
